Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machinery have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system offers much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
Many attachments have been engineered and developed in order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to position materials in a more precise manner. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New products and attachments are being designed and made all the time and will debut in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices could automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the boom's extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
